North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Training:
- Attendees who successfully complete this course will have satisfied the state of North Carolina’s requirement to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit
- PLEASE NOTE: Students do not always pursue or seek to obtain a Concealed Carry Permit. Many attend this class to improve their knowledge of safe gun handling and state laws
- Course Topics Include: Handguns & Safety, Ammunition, Cleaning & Maintenance, Marksmanship, Presentation, Legal Issues and Carrying Concealed
- North Carolina requires a minimum of 8 hours classroom plus range qualification
- The required range qualification consists of 40 – 50 rounds at distances of 3, 5 and 7 yards
- Cost is $90 per student and includes class materials and range fees
- Discounts are available to spouses of law enforcement, active military, fire department staff and emergency medical personnel (call for more information)
- Handguns are available for rent at $20
- Eye and ear protection may be rented for $10

A firearm that doesn’t fit your hand well, is too powerful or has too many controls is a handgun that you’re not likely to use when you need it. We offer you an opportunity try up to 5 handguns in different calibers and types. Range time and Eye & Ear protection is included. Ammunition is additional.
